Our Summer 2023 Crowdfunding Campaign was a success!
We did it!!! From July 1st to August 31st, 2023, in commemoration of the 160th Anniversary of the Battle of Gettysburg, we raised over $15,000 for post-production for Reenactress, but we’re just getting started!
Once editing, sound design, mixing, graphics, music, and animation are completed, we can still use additional contributions to submit the film to festivals and launch an Impact Campaign to get the word out about #womenshistory!
Here’s how our campaign went…

$100 - Signed Movie Poster + Digital Download
If you contribute at the $100.00 level during the campaign, you’ll receive your name in the End Credits, a Digital Download of the film once it’s completed, and a Reenactress Movie Poster designed by Atlanta-based artist Rachel De Urioste and signed by Reenactress director, J.R. Hardman.
The poster depicts a Confederate soldier we’ve nicknamed Jennie Reb on the left and a Union soldier called Betty Yank on the right.
